Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Sunday Morning

The dungeon had shifted again overnight.

This time it was different, however: no new corridors were formed, no new rooms were opened. One camp's corridor led into another's led into another's, and from there, a path straight forward towards the vault. It would not be hard now for the Fandomites trapped inside to meet and congregate.

Was the Toymaker making it easy on them? Possible. But not very probable.

The corridor leading out of the camp was brightly lit, and connected to a larger one. Much like that of all the other camps.

There was only one other possible exit leading out of that main corridor: towards the vault.

Atton hadn't actually returned to the actual camp last night.

He was sitting right outside in the corridor, his back against the wall, rocking gently.

"Bad day?" Cade guessed, holding out a flask of...something...that he'd stolen from the smuggler's hangout.

You just ignore those bad juju vibes Atton was putting off, Cade. This was turning out to be a kind of dark side-y month.

"You could say that," he said, snatching the flask like a lifeline.

He wasn't actually an alcoholic, but this past month was starting to make him wish he was.

"Yeah, tell me your darkest karking fears," Cade said sarcastically, sliding down to rest against the wall. "I just meant if you want to rant about how stupid this place is, I agree."

"Trust me, nobody needs my darkest karking fears," Atton said, a messed-up snicker still audible in his voice. "Just saw some dead planets. Dead people. Well, not dead people in my time, but-- you know what I mean. Bet some arrogant super-powered schuttas made this place just to break into our heads."

Atton snorted. "Everybody's got ghosts," he said. "You know, at first, I thought I wanted to kill whoever did this. Now? I think I want to tear them down and drag 'em in here, make them go through this again and again until they crack to pieces."

Healthy.

"It'd be fun watching them beg."

"Make sure you stick them in a room with the crying baby," Cade said. "Purple hair girl told me they had that fifth floor girl with the kid in with them."
