Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Wednesday, Day One of Two
The first day had been eminently entertaining - but the Toymaker was already growing bored. He reached in and tweaked the strings of his tiny universe, adding subtle changes: speeding up time, moving hallways. One of the two might be more noticeable than the other, but he looked forward to seeing if Fandom's finest felt the time discrepancy.
He split this day in two. Bound the pathways of the first and second camps together. And sat back.
The maze changed. That was what it was built to do. Its denizens would just have to find ways to cope with it.

Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
You were welcome for that mental image, Jono.
Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
"Well, there was a room full of bags of clothes and things I stumbled across earlier. If you don't mind maternity wear, it'd be located in my alcove, in th'bag that has 'Mass-Murderer' scrawled across it in large, fancy lettering."
Jonothon wasn't in the mood to take shit from his emotional baggage, today. He'd just grabbed the first bag with useful contents and wandered off.

"So the rooms change," she said, more to herself than him. "Good to know."
Beat.
"You went through the vampire door, too?"
Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
"I didn't, no. Ran into somebody who did, though."
He gave his wrist an idle rub. Raven had healed the puncture wounds there, but it was difficult to wrap his head around letting somebody drink his blood. Even somebody that he was still fairly fond of.
"Too, luv?"
Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
That wasn't a lie, even. She was just being chary with the truth.
"Did they bite you?" She was looking at the way he was rubbing at his wrist. There were no marks, but...he couldn't leave it alone. That was the way that Jono dealt with things that bothered him. He poked and prodded at it until it either stopped hurting or he just went numb.
Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
You know. Just a vampire. Somebody or other.
"You went into the room."
It wasn't even a question.

"And then there's my throat," she said. "I got bit."
Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
"Only bitten?"
She didn't look as though she'd been turned. There was something about the sight of a vampire that made his insides twist on a good day. But checking, at this point, seemed... imperative.
Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
Especially considering Karla on her best day was barely equal with Ender on his worst.

Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
It would likely scar. Karla had fair skin and couldn't heal. But she'd deal with that later. Because what was a little wounded vanity, really?
Re: Camp Two - Alcoves
"Scars add personality," he quipped, though there wasn't much in the way of mirth in that statement. He'd walked around with scars as plain as day burned right into his face for years. He was confident she could manage. "If you need something to bandage that up with, I have plenty of spare cloth, at least. It's not exactly proper first-aid, but it's probably better than nothing."
