Twisting Paths of the Dungeon, Somewhere, Thursday

The pathways of the dungeon had changed overnight. Anyone who had stayed in a room beyond their welcome had found themselves booted out back onto the hallways that belonged to their camp and feeling pressed down by the sudden increase in gravity. The doors of yesterday had closed. Other doors had now opened.

And other routes.

[ pathways | gremlins | space battles | room of the past | flooded room | free space | strange vault | ooc NOTE: room doors not belonging to your camp will lock when you enter. so please designate whether you're from camp 1 or the joint camp 2/ camp 3 ]

Hey, April could do accents too sometimes. Like when she was trying to drum up donations during a telethon and it helped to sound like a friendly person.

"The naked guy, right?" April 'checked.' "Golly, he's cute. Is he, like, definitely the kind of vampire who kills people, do you think?"

In the meantime, April was just going to use that new enhanced vampire hearing of hers to make sure no one was on their way down this corridor, becuase Annie seemed like just the kind of kill she was looking for. Mostly because she looked unarmed and she smelled good.

"Not yesterday morning," Annie said dryly. Because played out or not, Eric had ma aged to worry her a little. "I mean, I guess he's kind of cute, if you're into that super tall blond muscley naked look."

April gave a stream of giggles at that. "Isn't everyone?"

Anyway. This was getting old. She dropped the accent.

"Thing is, though," she said, leaning on a wall, "he's not the only vampire in camp."

"Oh? Who e-" And then Annie realized she was in a dark creepy hall with a girl she didn't even really know, and something clicked. "-eeelse?"

That was a good cover, right? Right.

Such a good cover.

April morphed into vamp-face - it felt more like dropping the human face than putting something else on.

And she immediately moved to try to yank Annie forward so she could get this feeding business over with. "Guess."

"Someone not you!" Annie cried, totally failing to avoid being yanked forward. "Someone really not you!"

Poor Annie. "Wrong," April told her, and now if there were no objections, she was just going to go for Annie's neck now.

Because really. She'd faked an accent and an upbeat personality to get this far. This was happening.

Annie flailed at her, which wasn't hugely effective in this position. With someone's teeth in her neck. "Hey! Stop it! That really hurts!"

And the flailing got even less effective the longer this went on.

Shockingly, April was undeterred by that convincing flailing. Without removing her teeth from Annie's neck, she pinned Annie's arms to her sides with one arm (well, tried to, anyway) and used her other hand to sweep some of her hair out of the way, because that was one of those vampire obstacles you never thought about until it came to be an issue.

You know, she kind of thought she was good at this. The ability to multitask while biting had to be some kind of impressive skill.

Annie would say it wasn't impressive. But then, Annie was dying at the moment and some pettiness was to be expected.

And then she just went limp.
