Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Friday

A strong wind tore through the hallways. Inside the camps, it was only audible: no breeze flicked into the large chambers themselves. Outside them, though, torches would flicker on and off on their own whim, exposing the dungeon's residents to errant grues.

There was something to be celebrated, though: when the maze shifted overnight, its paths crossed and connected all three camps. Time for a reunion.

"Okay," Kitty said, and hopefully he didn't mind getting hugged again because seriously.

"None taken," Gert assured her. "They'd be a pretty crappy teleportation method if eating them did get people back to Fandom, though. Like how many people are going to want this bag of chips that, judging by the label, was clearly made in the seventies or eighties?"

"Seriously. Damn, why didn't I steal a bottle from the bar?" Because she was running too fast to veer over and not get caught. "Who else was in your camp when you were there? Dean and Sam, and Karla and Jono are here. So's Raven." Umm... "About Raven. Uh."

"When you said 'stale,' I didn't think you meant 'a lot older than us,'" Jessica said. Okay, technically, she was two. But shut up. She was talking about her assumed age. "But depending on how hungry people are, I could see them going for it."

"Mostly folks I don't know very well. Kitty's there, and Jack and Sholeh." He held up his hands, still wrapped in dingy bags. "She helped clean me up, after. . . . well, you know."

"...Any way you can create some busy work?" Kitty wondered. "I said I'd stay with him but there's not a ton to keep us busy if that's what he needs."

"I ran into Jack two days ago. At a parking garage full of statues." Dinah took one of Priestly's hands to look at it, wincing. "These could stand to be changed, maybe? I'm glad she helped." Okay, spit it out, keeping things back never helps. "Raven got bit. By one of the vampires in that world. But she isn't totally a vampire, yet."

"Most of my busy work the last few days has involved wandering the halls and opening doors looking for things to hit," Allie said regretfully. "I'm pretty sure that's not what you had in mind."

Okay, maybe Gert was exaggerating and they weren't quite that old. Definitely older than Jessica, though. Because most things were.

"...That's kind of gross," Gert concluded, eyeing the bag with new suspicion. "And actually, so is the idea of teleportation food and whatever biological processes would go along with that. Sorry for this conversation."

Please, Stilinski men lived for hugs. He was all over the hugging. There'd be more crying later, probably, but right now he was as calm as he was gonna get.

"Yeah, I don't think he's going to be wanting to go out anytime soon," she agreed. "I mean, I'm... distressingly used to this. All my focus is on Stiles right now."

"I'm sure the Asgardians have something or other like that already," Jessica said. "But that's magic. I don't think biological processes get mixed up with magic food very often. At least, I hope not," Jessica said.

Priestly's eyes went wide. "Shit. Is she -- wait, how --" He shook his head. "Okay, so let's just get this out here: I don't know how vampires work. I mean, Navaan is totally different from vamp-you."

"Remind me not to ask Loki about that," Gert said. "Just in case."

Because he'd just troll to make it extra-gross, probably.

"Apart from this increasingly gross discussion, how are you doing?"

"Yeah? Different, how? I mean I figured she wasn't crazy-evil, but..." Dinah picked up a peanut to roll between her fingers. "Raven's already half-demon, right? So the demon that wants to move in when that kind of vampire gets made, it's having a throw-down with the one already there, I guess. She's holding her own in between them for now, she said." She paused, looking down at her hands. "When I got stuck in vampire-me's body, I was still me. Physically way different, and hungry all the time, but... I dunno. I guess the demon part got pushed out when the residents there did the spell to bring us to their world."

"Well, I'm wearing neon bowling shoes, an argyle sweatervest, and somebody else's pants. And all that is the bright side of the past few days," Jessica said. "So I guess the answer is, 'could be worse.' Oh, I also still have my sense of humor, which helps. How about you? Holding up okay?"

Allie nodded, half wishing she was better at this. "That's good. He'll need his friends. I'll do what I can to help. I can go try and scrounge up some food or something if you think that'll help."

Priestly considered that. "Yep, I still don't get it." He shrugged. "But I don't get why I have a tail, either. I'm used to it. Navaan . . . she's sort of simpler, I guess? She's got fangs, but her face doesn't go all 'rrrrr'. She just has fangs."

"That'd be great. Even if you just find random little stuff, I can improvise something to do with it," she said gratefully.

"I found dinosaurs today and that didn't suck," Gert shrugged. "It's weird that that's comforting."

It really, really was.

"Guess I've gotta go with the 'could be worse' angle, too."

Dinah snickered, relaxing a bit. "Okay, gotcha. And she's never been all 'I must make you a vampire and keep you as my pet', or we would be having words about the kind of women you date, Priestly." She spread her hands helplessly. "I don't know why vamp-me is like that. Maybe because she got turned into one when I was-- she was-- younger."

"Well, she got a little bit antsy when she thought I was seeing other doctors." Yep. "But no, she's pretty down with just being fuck-buddies from what I can tell. And, well, it's you and me, right? We're us. Maybe she just missed having that us."

"I can do that," she said. "I'll move fast and be back soon."

Allie started to move away but stopped. "I know you want to help Stiles, but if you want to talk...I'm not all that good at knowing what to say. But I can listen, okay?"

"Enough to kill you last time," Dinah said glumly. Then tapped her foot against his again. "Yeah. That's probably a lot of it. So you and Navaan aren't gonna be serious? I'm assuming she's one of the ladies you got lucky with during the weirdness week."

"Assume away. And yeah, I don't see us as being serious. She doesn't seem the type, you know?" Priestly shook his head. "Man, I can't believe that was last week. The island is going to owe us a day of raining ice cream or something after this."
