Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Friday

A strong wind tore through the hallways. Inside the camps, it was only audible: no breeze flicked into the large chambers themselves. Outside them, though, torches would flicker on and off on their own whim, exposing the dungeon's residents to errant grues.

There was something to be celebrated, though: when the maze shifted overnight, its paths crossed and connected all three camps. Time for a reunion.

Camp One - Main Space

The central chamber is dimly lit but light enough to keep out the grues. There is a torch grafted to the wall every few feet, its flames flickering but never going out. A single water fountain rests between two torches. When activated, it releases a thin stream of water. In one corner, there are bags on the floor, big enough to be worn by an adult-sized human.

Kitty had a project today. She still hadn't gotten a hold of a weapon, so she was making one. She'd gotten a hold of some random things yesterday, and after sharpening the letter opener to a point, she was trying to secure the new blade to her hand with a necklace chain and some paperclips in a way that wouldn't be uncomfortable or fall apart if she actually had to use it on anything. If this didn't work she could use the letter opener as a knife, but she tended to want to keep her hands free here.

Also it was keeping her mind off yesterday and the fact that she could totally be sliding into a bad mood, so there.

Between some of the torches there are little alcoves, just wide enough to fit a single human being lying down.

After getting stuck in the memory room for what felt like hours yesterday, Kaidan... wasn't in a terribly great frame of mind. He could push through and head out and find some stuff, and he would.

But right now... right now he'd curled up in one of the alcoves, staring silently at the wall. Thinking.

Jessica was taking it easy for a while. She'd been out exploring, day after day after day, and all she had to show for it were an argyle sweater vest, bounty hunter pants, a blaster (and she didn't even use blasters), and a view of a vampire-killed Peter Parker.

So excuse her if she was quiet and sulked a little bit about how none of this was turning out right. Shouldn't this have been over already, anyway?

At the back of the room stands a singular fireplace giving off some heat. On its mantle lies an array of little figurines, shifting day by day. Right now an onyx tankard seems to lead the tiny army.

Camp One - Corridors Out Of Camp One

Torches line these walls - thank god - but in the distance this corridor breaks into two, and then three. There are visible shadows in the distance, and sometimes, an unearthly rattling noise can be heard.

You can also hear the wind rushing through the corridors as soon as they start branching.

Gert took two steps down the hallway and paused. Yeah, was it just her, or were these hallways even creepier than yesterday?

Scratch that question: Gert was positive that it wasn't just her.

Looking miserable at having to do it, she took a deep breath and set off at a run.

Last night, Minako has eventually gotten back to her camp and curled up to stare at the fire, not talking to anyone.

Today? There was a very angry incarnation of the Goddess of Love and War stalking through the corridors outside her camp, wielding a large stick she'd scavenged up somewhere.

Pick a fight, shadow-things. Please. Minako was totally going to hand you your ass without even transforming, if you tried to stop her from helping everyone find a way out.

Coulson kind of appreciated the wind for a while, so he hung around just outside the camp for a bit. But when the lights flickered out and he was pretty sure he had a close call with... something, he went back inside.
