Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Friday

A strong wind tore through the hallways. Inside the camps, it was only audible: no breeze flicked into the large chambers themselves. Outside them, though, torches would flicker on and off on their own whim, exposing the dungeon's residents to errant grues.

There was something to be celebrated, though: when the maze shifted overnight, its paths crossed and connected all three camps. Time for a reunion.

[ camp one | camp two | camp three | ooc as of yesterday, everyone in camp 1 is free to assume they know about the first key and the vault. ]

Another day, and they were still here. It'd been long enough that Natalie had routines. Just small ones, like what she was doing now. Waking up from some hours of uncomfortable sleep on her bag bed, she pushed herself up to sitting, then pulled the hem of her t-shirt up some to examine the progress of the bruises on her hip and her stomach.

Still there. And to think she'd bothered to be annoyed about a few little hickeys just last week.

Well. This camp wasn't exactly more comfortable - or much different - from the one Peter had woken up in, but at least he had one more friend here than he had back there. That was worth something.

Still, it didn't make his ritual of wake-up-grab-for-electronics-that-aren't-there-curse-the-universe-under-his-breath any more fun.

Yesterday (http://fh-dungeon.livejournal.com/2168.html?thread=550008#t550008), April decided, had been a lot of fun. She'd have to do it again sometime.

Like today. She wasn't super hungry yet, but that would probably change, and in the meantime she'd just be checking out the snack options from her position under a torch in a corner.

After managing to tear himself away from his memories yesterday, Stark had bolted back to the camp. Well, bolted as fast as one could manage with the heavy gravity pressing down the way it had.

Since then he hadn't slept. He thought he might have dozed briefly but he wasn't sure. He had spent a lot of time pacing, as quietly as he could.

He had stopped pacing at some point and was now seated on the floor watching one of the torches as it flickered. He didn't want to be in the dark. Of course, he could always take off his mask and provide a little light that way, at least for a while.

[if anyone wants to borrow the alien as a walking nightlight, he'll totally go with you if you ask and he'll try his best not to flail about it. Although I will be at work and verrrrry slow until about 5ish EDT]

The fact was, Alec was having a really awful week, and you could tell that because when he set a hot dog (the only one left in the pack he'd found) on fire, that was by far not the worst or most surprising thing that had happened.

He did yelp and leap up, despite his rather disturbingly low bar for crappiness, but he was only human.

Well. Human and angel.
