Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Friday
A strong wind tore through the hallways. Inside the camps, it was only audible: no breeze flicked into the large chambers themselves. Outside them, though, torches would flicker on and off on their own whim, exposing the dungeon's residents to errant grues.
There was something to be celebrated, though: when the maze shifted overnight, its paths crossed and connected all three camps. Time for a reunion.
[ camp one | camp two | camp three | ooc as of yesterday, everyone in camp 1 is free to assume they know about the first key and the vault. ]

Re: Camp Two - Main Space
The bendy straws probably would have been easier to find the other day, when he was rummaging through baggage full of... crap, mostly.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
If she sounded a little more callous and offhand than usual... well, yeah. Came with the territory.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
"I try," he settled on, finally. "If there's anything else you need later, luv, don't hesitate to ask."
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
That was a bit mean.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
"This has precious little to do with boredom," he intoned, a little flatly, as he studied her face. "If you'd rather, I can leave you be."
Let them all starve or be systematically exterminated in peace. He seemed to be good at not being there when it mattered the most, after all.

And he was no good at actually sleeping at the best of times. He had nothing to go by, when it came to trying to figure something like that out with.

He hadn't had a decent meal with days, but that didn't mean other people weren't.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
Very. And she was pleased about it. "Yeah," April said, very dryly. "Good thing you're here."
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
Of course she was starving, too. Of course.
"I'll go on a supply run," he mumbled, brow furrowing as he stared at the floor. "Get something to bring back and pass around. There's usually something. I won't give up today until I've come across enough food to bring back to make it worth everyone's while."
It was a big promise, he knew, but if all he'd been able to manage since getting here was making a meal of himself and playing escort down the hallways sometimes...

He did a good enough job tearing himself apart in situations like this. He didn't need help.
"You enjoy... whatever it is you're doing to help us along, luv. I'm going to go and make myself useful."
