Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Friday
A strong wind tore through the hallways. Inside the camps, it was only audible: no breeze flicked into the large chambers themselves. Outside them, though, torches would flicker on and off on their own whim, exposing the dungeon's residents to errant grues.
There was something to be celebrated, though: when the maze shifted overnight, its paths crossed and connected all three camps. Time for a reunion.
[ camp one | camp two | camp three | ooc as of yesterday, everyone in camp 1 is free to assume they know about the first key and the vault. ]

Re: Camp Two - Main Space
A beat.
"He wasn't the brightest bloke I've met."
Poor Bowser.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
She grinned wryly. "Kinda wish I'd seen some of that wackiness the first time, though."
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
Jono shrugged his shoulders.
"Clearly whoever's doing this has been paying attention. The room with the vampires is apparently something that's happened on Fandom Island before, too." One of his ears flicked slightly while Jono thought on that. "The question then is, why are all of these things being dredged up again? The baggage, those angels that look like th'ring of them out in the preserve. What's the point to all this?"
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
"I don't know," she added, a faint note of annoyance in her voice; not that she had the patience to dig for the answers, but she hated not knowing them. "Other than messing with us, I don't know. It's not like you can say they're all meant to give us bad flashbacks when not everyone here's lived through all of it."
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
Vampire issues. Yep.
"The sooner we figure out how to get out of here and back to our own bloody version of the island, the better. In the meantime... I suppose we make do."
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
She dropped down to sit cross-legged on the floor and propped her chin up in her hands. "I swear, they don't make Fandom crises the way they used to when we were in school."
Off her lawn, kids. Or something.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
Irritated tail thump. Eartwitch. Grumble.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
She ran a hand through her (increasingly greasy, ugh) hair. "That one made me so mad the first time, like I got cheated out of a real chance to fight things, and now... I kind of wish more of the fights I end up in were like that."
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
"I couldn't agree more," he admitted, resisting the urge to lift his hands and try to cover those stupid ears of his. "I'll fight when I need to, of course. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't, I don't think. But some easy fights now and again, ridiculous things like toothy vegetables... I certainly wouldn't mind more of those."
They beat going up against enemies like Machinesmith or the Zodiac any day of the week. And he'd probably take them over the Blood in Glacia after Karla's graduation, too, if he had the choice.
"... And I'm not adorable."
You keep telling yourself that, Jon.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
"That is seriously one impressive tail. What are you gonna do if you're really stuck with it?"
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
He really, really hoped the tail wasn't permanent. But it wasn't as though he hadn't seen stranger, really. He'd deal. Probably.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
Not helping, Kennedy. NOT HELPING.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
"I think there's a place in town that caters to much the same," Jono sighed. "I'll figure something out, one way or another. Maybe I'll just get fed up with th'bloody thing and have it docked instead."
... Ow.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
And now she was wishing she'd had her phone on her while she slept so she could at least get a picture. Oh well.
Re: Camp Two - Main Space
Right along with pretty much everything else that was going on in here. Temporary sounded good, indeed.
