Jono hesitated for a moment at that. Really, if anything, the reason he wasn't flopping down to the floor all at once was because that might mean not being scratched behind the ear for a moment.
... Which was ridiculous, and he'd absolutely wonder what the hell was the matter with him later. But for the time being he would give a little nod, totter in place for a moment more, and then ease himself down to the ground to sit.
