Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Thursday

On the third day (or the fourth, depending on where you were currently huddled), the Toymaker cracked his knuckles and got to work: hallways shifted again, and groups that had been able to interact were cut off again. Gravity grew heavier to make it harder to walk, to run, to find the energy to move around.

The maze shifted again, and those trapped inside would have to see what new surprises awaited them today. The Toymaker wasn't done playing with them, even as their numbers began to dwindle. No, not at all.

Camp One - The Room

The central chamber (http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/endsthegame/15469825/23496/23496_original.png) is dimly lit but light enough to keep out the grues. There is a torch grafted to the wall every few feet, its flames flickering but never going out. A single water fountain rests between two torches. When activated, it releases a thin stream of water. In one corner, there are bags on the floor, varying in size, some big enough to be worn by an adult-sized human.

Camp One - Alcoves

Between some of the torches there are little alcoves, just wide enough to fit a single human being lying down.

Camp One - Fireplace

At the back of the room stands a singular fireplace giving off some heat. On its mantle lies an array of little figurines, shifting day by day. Right now, a squirrel with a tiny rum bottle seemed to be leading the parade.

Torches line these walls - thank god - but in the distance this corridor breaks into two, and then three. There are visible shadows in the distance, and sometimes, an unearthly rattling noise can be heard.

Kaidan had curled up in one of the alcoves with one of the blankets he'd found on day one. It kept him warm, that was the important part - but right now it seemed to be making it very hard to get up.

Well, Mike had ended up in the wrong camp at first, and also handwavily acquired some better, non-sack clothes, even though it had meant dealing with things like duffel bags marked 'NEVER A SERIOUS ANYTHING TO ANYONE'.

But they were still here, so he wasn't exactly celebrating. Especially when it was suddenly a little bit harder than expected just to walk to the water fountain.

Raven had slept a little, but not very much. She'd mostly stayed awake, watching over the camp and making sure nothing happened during the night. It seemed a safe enough place, at last, but after what she'd experienced she wasn't going to risk it.

She was starting to feel hungry again, so she was trying to gather the nerve to ask someone for help. It wasn't easy.
