The pathways of the dungeon had changed overnight. Anyone who had stayed in a room beyond their welcome had found themselves booted out back onto the hallways that belonged to their camp and feeling pressed down by the sudden increase in gravity. The doors of yesterday had closed. Other doors had now opened.
And other routes.

A Moist Door
Date: 2013-04-11 10:13 am (UTC)Open it and step into the bowels of... a ship? A home? It's not completely clear. There are closets and dressers all around, and some of them may contain small items like coins or pens or a small box of cookies. If you want any of it, you'll want to be quick, though. The water's already up to your feet and more keeps gushing in through the windows and door, causing the water levels to rise rapidly.

"Yeah, thanks."
Now she was just going to have to wade all the way back.

Date: 2013-04-11 11:57 pm (UTC)The water was pouring in and he couldn't see where it was coming from to make it stop. He walked over to one of the dressers and pulled it open.
Inside was a baseball cap. Well, that would just be so helpful for a flood! So helpful! He tossed the cap into the water and kept on looking while dealing with the rising water.

Re: A Moist Door
Date: 2013-04-12 12:55 am (UTC)She went through as many of the closets and drawers as she could, throwing what she found that might be useful in the little bag she'd found in the baggage room yesterday (which would get ruined today but whatever): a letter opener, a necklace chain, a little bag of pretzels, paper clips, and a random baseball cap (the Mets, ugh). The water made it harder to move after a while, and Kitty was pretty sure she was going to have to swim to the door, but she honestly felt kind of relieved that she might feel slightly less desperate for a shower after this.
