Twisting Paths of the Dungeon, Somewhere, Thursday

The pathways of the dungeon had changed overnight. Anyone who had stayed in a room beyond their welcome had found themselves booted out back onto the hallways that belonged to their camp and feeling pressed down by the sudden increase in gravity. The doors of yesterday had closed. Other doors had now opened.

And other routes.

"If I can make it through a meal here without getting sick, that's more food for the less adventurous people in the camp. And if I do get sick, then I won't want to eat anything for a couple days anyway, so that's even more food for them," Jessica pointed out. "It's a win-win for everyone but my stomach."

"And who says teenagers can't be selfless," Clint said, handing over the goods. "If I was a better person, I'd recommend you stay safe, but I don't think that's easily doable here."

"Thanks," Jessica said, taking a quick look at... whatever the currency was. "And don't worry about me. I've had some pretty decent people teach me how to take care of myself." Cough cough SHIELD training cough. "I'll be fine here."

It was only because he'd met enough students that he actually sort of believed that. "Good. Just make sure you make it back to the rest of the group then," he said. "I'm thinking maybe I should go before I piss off someone else."

It wasn't like he tried, it just happened!
