Dungeon Residential Camps, Somewhere, Wednesday, Day Two of Two

At Fandom, the sun reached its highest point in the sky. Down (or was it up?) here in the dungeon, a next day broke, each hour occupying the space of only half. It was only noticeable to those with keen senses, or those who might've kept an eye on the fireplaces: the figurines had switched places again as night changed.

Well. It might have also been noticeable to anyone who'd wandered into a room with a sky and a visible sun.

Camp One - The Room

Camp One - Main Space

The central chamber is dimly lit but light enough to keep out the grues. There is a torch grafted to the wall every few feet, its flames flickering but never going out. A single water fountain rests between two torches. When activated, it releases a thin stream of water. In one corner, there are bags on the floor, big enough to be worn by anything ranging up to an adult-sized human.

Priestly managed to make his way back from the zombie room not much the worse for wear -- just sore. He'd managed to upgrade his pointy stick with an even longer, heavier stick and some duct tape (look, a broom handle with a pointy stick taped to it was totally a respectable improvised weapon, okay?), and best of all, he'd found food.

"Soup's on!" he called, setting the backpack full of canned food on the floor. "Or, okay, canned spaghetti, beans, and fruit's on."

Close enough.

Gert was back from the room full of baggage by now, and her disposition was not what one would call cheerful. She spread out her blanket on the floor and stared at the ceiling.

Also, the purple in her hair was in need of a touch-up, and that just added insult to injury, really. Ugh.

After finding Kaidan in the baggage room (http://fh-dungeon.livejournal.com/1789.html?thread=367869#t367869), Allie had followed him back to his camp. No offense Camp 2, but with two vampire slayers, the Winchesters, and Karla around, Allie was going to feel a little more comfortable with people that she trusted.

For now she was sitting near the fountain, doing her best to try and clean up.

Camp One - Alcoves

Between some of the torches there are little alcoves, just wide enough to fit a single human being lying down.

Camp One - Fireplace

At the back of the room stands a singular fireplace giving off some heat. On its mantle lies an array of little figurines, shifting day by day. Right now a small silver television seems to lead the tiny army.

After her experience in the room with the baggage yesterday, Éponine had only meant to come back to the camp, but she'd ended up blundering into another room instead. All things considered, the two slightly stale loaves of bread because I will never be done making bread jokes with this canon probably hadn't been worth the effort of navigating the abandoned kitchen, mostly because in the center of it was a giant oven (big enough to put a person in, she'd thought) with its door open and occasional gouts of flame shooting out.

That was more than enough to convince her she was absolutely done with the damn dungeon for the day, and she'd come back to get a few hours' sleep. Upon waking, she'd grudgingly decided to leave one of the loaves of bread for others if they wanted to fight over it, and went to put it by the fireplace.

At the very least, she noticed the difference in the figurines on the mantel, since God knew she'd spent enough time staring at them.

"But where's my friend monsieur the moose?" she asked the tiny television. "He hasn't been promoted, has he? Probably just as well I forgot to think of a name for him, then."

Torches line these walls - thank god - but in the distance this corridor breaks into two, and then three. There are visible shadows in the distance, and sometimes, an unearthly rattling noise can be heard.

Raven had relocated to this camp the day before, and she hadn't slept at all that night. She wasn't tired, but she wasn't hungry at least. Still, she was keeping to herself for the moment, nervous about all the emotions around her and letting those ignite her hunger.

Careful in the corridors, kids. By the second day of being back at camp, Vampire April was beginning to get a little hungry, and just out of sight of the rest of camp was where she thought it would be best to strike. So she was lurking.

So it's Day Two! Characters can have a sense that time seems to be going faster; if your character is naturally attuned to the daily cycle, they're going to be really thrown off, since it still feels like a full day.
